On catcher's OB the runner advances only if forced with batter being put on 1st. That's where the coach is given the option. result of the play or B1 awarded 1st and runners advanced if force.

If the runner from 1st "R2" stopped before he reached 2nd when he saw the throw heading towards F4 from F6 and turned back towards his dugout thinking he was going to be out and F4 picked up the ball...

Bugbobs post has got me wondering.
Could you guys/gals give me some insight on your nationals. Anybody got some bad moments? How long do your nationals usually run?
Ours up here usually run 7 or 8...
