I'm a logical person. It's part of my character. I'm not saying anyone else on this board isn't logical. It's just that I'm a software engineer by training and I think very analytically.

What I am saying is the rule book is wrong logically in saying that POI is the arrow. In the scenario we are talking about the event that is taking place is a shot attempt, not an AP Throw-in. ...

Both of us will get the play correct and for the same reason. We have no team control when the double foul was called and therefore we go with AP.

Actually you do but....
You do have authority to T up a team for unsportmanlike conduct of their fans. However, the rule book says you "may" enforce a Technical but strongly suggests otherwise. I've never T'd up a team...

No I haven't.
The only time the rule book says you can't wipe out a T is during a correctable error. Period! End of story! This is not a correctable error by rule and therefore those examples don't apply.

I too have never done this :), but I've heard of officials whistling a foul but then realizing its not a foul and converting it to an inadvertent whistle. Of course, I've never done that either! :)....
