Don't have the rules reference but check in rule 4 for incidental contact and screens.

You can't penalize a player for contact on a screen that wasn't seen if if the contact is violent. Discussed...

The play as described is not a foul. Contact on a blind screen is not a foul. If the defender did not see the screener, it is not a foul!

Game venting.

Arrive at game, 35 minutes before gametime. Partner has called me earlier in the day to confirm site location. Partner shows up 5 minutes before gametime. COuldn't get in the school.

I called a PC. The displacement was significant. I usually have a no call when contact by offensive player is not on the torso of the defender.

Most schools from assigners are about 40 minutes from each other. But in an extreme case could be an hour.

Once the ball was tipped, clock did not start. There was certainly a one second delay between when the ball was tipped and me starting a visable count.

Ball tipped.Chop in. Clock doesn't start....
