Continuous motion FED vs. NCAAW

same as FED for both NCAA men and women

Continuous motion applies to a try for field goal of free throw, but shall have no significance unless there is a foul by the defense during the interval that begins with the habitual throwing movement starts a try or with the touching on a tap and ends when the ball is clearly in flight

The big difference in continuous motion has to do with player control fouls.

NCAAW and NFHS are the same, no shot if there is a PC foul even if ball is released.

NCAAM, you count the basket if released and you would shoot 1 and 1 if in the bonus. This exact play happened last night in OSU vs OU.

this has to do with the FED and the NCAAW have the airborne shooter provision while it doesn't exist in NCAAM.
But the term "continuous motion" is not correct if that is what the OP is looking for.

"Continuous motion" has nothing to do with "player control fouls".

"Continuous motion" applies, by definition, when there is a foul by the defense. A "PC foul" is, by defintion, a foul by the offense.

A foul by the defense does not cause the ball to become dead if a try has been STARTED.

A foul by the offense does not cause the ball to become dead if a try has been RELEASED.

I agree with your descriptions of the differences in the codes when there is a foul BY (not ON) an airborne shooter.

The trying motion must be continuous and begins after the ball comes to rest in the player’s hand(s) on a try or touches the hand(s) on a tap, and is completed when the ball is clearly in flight. The trying motion may include arm, foot or body movements used by the player when throwing the ball at his/her basket.
d. Article 9 as in 9-3-3 or 9-13-1, occurs by an opponent.
