Random question
Being in the south, high school football is played on Friday nights. However, when I see highlights of games from other areas (seemingly northern states especially) they are played during the day.
When are these games played? Friday afternoon? Saturday afternoon? Is this due to the cold weather or some other reason? Just seems strange to see varsity football played during the day. Part of the excitement in doing hs football for me is atmosphere of playing under the lights.
