Video Request: Our new favorite official (Clip Added)
Please, oh please, somebody tell me what W4 did wrong to earn a foul call at 17:51 of the 2nd half of the SMU/USF game on ESPNEWS.
Thanks APG:

I'll try to post here and in the other thread sometime today. Hopefully my computer/internet aren't ice cold and comply.

Looks to me like #4 got to the ball first and was run into by the red player. I would have no problem if there was simply a no-call here. But I do see why a call was made, just not a very good reason I can come up with what they did illegally.
Peace

I see W4 with his hands on an airborne pass and then getting wiped out by R12 from behind.
I have a lot easier time explaining a no-call, 2 players arrive at the same point at the same time in equally advantageous positions, then I do explaining what W4 did wrong. If R11 were still dribbling the ball, and this contact occurred, it would have been an illegal screen.

What Nevada said. And that arm extending and contacting the offensive player actually results in rerout/hold/displace type of contact foul.
I didn't like it at first in real time, but heck of a call after seeing it again.
