I just watched it. There shouldn’t be any difference in codes. It’s a block on B1 since he didn’t allow A1 a spot to come down.

Different, but similar situation:

A1 is dribbling the ball. B1 is on the ground. A1 trips over B1 either while dribbling or gathering/holding the ball. NFHS = travel (provided he travelled by rule), NCAA = block. Correct?

NFHS: It would depend on how/when/ where B1 got on the ground.

It is impossible to travel if you are dribbling the ball.

Now that I've seen the video, that should be a foul at all levels. It is a dangerous play and should be penalized every time.

This play is a no brainer, just a reminder to always protect the shooter.

6, how many do you think? The shot went in, the answer to your question is pretty straight forward and simple.

Are you implying that it might have been a F1 (or F2, or I or F in HS) foul?

Yeah, the Duke player landed and rolled under the shooter. The Duke player may not have meant to, but it doesn't matter. Good call by the official.

If the shot goes in, 1, if not 3.

It is definitely not a FF1/FF2 unless I felt he did it on purpose in an attempt to hurt the shooter and I'm not going to split hairs over whether one of the shooter's toes touched down before actually contacting the defender.
