I understand that officials generally don't like making calls in this situation, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't.

I definitely would have called the push that occurred at the top of the key (before the pass). The defender (#3) very clearly did not have legal guarding position, and came into the dribbler from his back/side and caused displacement.

I have one clear foul at the end, one likely foul near the end, two maybes where the only thing that is clear is that the defender is near when the dribbler has trouble with the ball.

I hope this isn't true for most officials, especially at this level. It sounds eerily similar to "let the players decide the game" garbage that comes from announcers and losing coaches.

I'm Camron, and the only foul I would have called with the angle we have is the push at the top of the key.

Not liking to make a call is different than not making a call.
