After you get tired of throwing the ball without anyone jumping, just call a violation on one of the non-jumpers, award the other team the ball, and set the arrow that way. Even if you have to make up a violation it will work, the coaches dont have any idea what is or isnt a violation during the jump ball.

I spent a wasted few minutes trying to explain to a partner why yelling out "hold your spots" to all the nonjumpers was not a smart thing to do.
