If you're really intent on enforcing this, why didn't you just direct the player to the bench? I bet the next time he tries to check in, he's going to have that jersey tucked in, and if he doesn't, don't allow him in.

It wasn't me. I think my partner did this because of the attitude of the kid. Every time he was directed to tuck it in, he just kind of "pretended" to do so and had a look of disgust on his face.

The added benefit is you have a case play to back you up. I've only done it once, and it worked for the rest of the game and all the next one, five days later.
