Why was the ball put in play with only 9 players on the floor? Did anyone notice this and try to rectify prior to putting the ball in play? Preventative officiating can ease a lot of pain.......

No one said a ball was put in play with only 9 players!! Good thing we had Preventative officiating..

This play came up in a discussion after a game in which it almost happened. The initial post did not say that it DID happen.
