Had this problem at a varsity girl's tournament this summer. Girl goes down in a heap; coach and trainer come onto the court to tend to her, followed shortly by the father. As the father walks by my partner, he says something akin to "If you'd call the game right, this wouldn't happen."
I called the tournament director over and had her remove the dad from the gym. We had no problem with dad coming onto the court, but once he opened his mouth to us, he was not going to hang around to see the rest of the game. |
