Unlike last year, the survey at NFHS | National Federation of State High School Associations appears to be open. Pretty easy to follow the links. If you can't you shouldn't complete the survey.

One of the questions asks if we should make the myth about player location during free throws with no one in the the lane and make it a rule.

I don't know why they would entertain that...except that too many officials think that's the rule. That's a shame.

I voted no on that one. Too bad the delay in return to the court after a throw-in was not in the survey.

I voted no as well. It just surprised me that it was on the survey. First time I can remember that being on the survey. It's a shame cause I feel like the only reason they're asking about changing the rule is because too many officials don't know the rule.

Yeah, I wonder how many officials taking the test thought, "I thought that was already the rule."
