Inbounding pass after a score

A simple one, but disagreement among officials and can't find it in the case book. And even though I think I saw it here in past years, can't get the right search for the thread.

After a made basket by A1, B1 can run the endline or pass to B2, who is also established OOB on endline. May the pass from B1 to B2 be a bounce pass?

Absolutely, because it's not a throw-in pass. The throw-in pass must be released directly onto the court, so it can't touch out of bounds before touching inbounds. But since this is not a throw-in pass, there's no such restriction.

You're right that it's not specifically in the case book. I've always allowed it and I've never worked with anyone who didn't. I guess the reasoning for allowing it is that the rules state A1 can "pass" the ball to A2 who is also OOB on the same line and that the rulebook definition of "pass" includes batting or rolling the ball to a teammate. To me, that also means bouncing is allowed.

Rule 7-5-7a says that a thrower on a non-designated spot throw-in can PASS the ball along the end line to a teammate(s) outside the boundary. And case book play 9.2.2SitD says that a player can bounce the ball on the out-of-bounds area PRIOR to making a throw-in.

That language is good enough for me.
