I've watched some curling, which was surprisingly interesting.

I set my DVR for today, thanks.

I finally understand curling, thanks to the extensive coverage. We'll see if I remember how it works in four years

Is Curling A Real Sport ...

Agree. I have only watched about thirty minutes of the Games each night, I'm not into winter sports, but a few nights ago, I discovered curling on one of NBC's cable stations. I decided to watch it for a just few minutes. About two hours later, I had to stop watching to go to bed. Why do some people, including me, find curling so intriguing? Other than the fact that some of those Scandinavian women are really, really good looking. Why can't curling be a sport where the women have to wear bikinis, like beach volleyball?

Because the ice isn't in glasses like it is in beach volleyball.

Reminds me of the Ethiopian ice hockey team. They couldn't get enough players together to form a team because they all kept drowning during tryouts.

OK. This has been going on for over twenty-one hours. When is enough, enough? Not enough yet? I agree. I'll just leave it up to the moderators. Eventually the post will be closed, certainly with justification, after all, this thread has really moved away from the basketball arena. What's the line we have to cross?

How about another one?

"We got two honkies out there dressed like Hasidic diamond merchants."

And I thought Airplane! had the best quotes? Boy was I wrong.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.

One of the benefits of being Canadian, is that we don't have to figure out curling. We're born knowing. No red rocks needed.
