Grabbing Net During Warm-ups

B/V game. During pre-game warm-up, player jumps up and grabs the net, pulls down and breaks the rim. What do you have if anything?

he breaks the rim?! A strong or heavy guy and a delayed game is what you got.

Delayed game and if the game is played I've got a player technical and charged indirectly to the head coach.

10-3-3
Grasp either basket during he time of the officials' jurisdiction, dunk, or stuff, or attempt to dunk or stuff a dead ball prior to or during the game or during any intermission until jurisdiction of the officials has ended. This item applies to all team members.

We have a fresh seatbelt for his coach. What we don't have is a jump ball to start the game.

I've heard rumors that a certain poster who shall remain nameless ...*cough* BillyMac *cough* ... likes to goad players into proving they can grab the rim during warmups. Nobody knows why this person would allegedly do this, but reportedly he's often heard muttering, "I'll show them. I'll show them all. We should just flip a @#$%^ coin!", and laughing maniacally.

"Hey, number 13, is that just tape on your finger?"

"Number 10. Please tuck your shirt in."

"Number 4. You can't play with black wrist bands when everybody else on your team has white wristbands."

"Hey, number 12, you see that kid on the other team, number 15, he says that you can't jump high enough to grab the rim"

"Nice jump kid. Now go over and tell your coach why we're starting this game with technical free throws instead of a jump ball. And, really, that was a great jump. I'll tell number 15 that he was wrong."

Clearly this is not your first rodeo.

1-10-1 . . . Each basket shall consist of a single metal ring, 18 inches in inside
diameter, its flange and braces, and a white-cord 12-mesh net, 15 to 18 inches in
length, suspended from beneath the ring.
