I had a very similar situation the other night.
JV Boys and the kid fumbled possession and when he finally gained, was tap-dancing in and out of bounds. It almost cracked me up because it looked like he was dancing on hot coals. Unfortunately for him when he passed it in he was in-bounds. I whistled the violation and they lost possession. Too many officials take for granted throw-ins after made baskets. You have to make sure and watch the throw-in.
