I know you are a football official. Basketball officiating will make your judgment better in football and your rules knowledge in football will make you a better rules person in basketball. Basketball is basically a judgment sport from an officiating standpoint. We have very few complicated rules situations in basketball that you see on a regular basis, unlike football. You will benefit from being a multi-sport official and basketball in my opinion is the hardest out of them all.

Peace

I agree, but the best thing about basketball is all you gotta do is put the ball back in play and the complaining stops.

Question for you Houston guys, how often do you wear the side panel stripes and/or grey shirts as opposed to the regular stripes? We've been told all three are approved as long as you match your partners.

Sticky question. Grey was not used for High School, but I've heard this year it may be optional. Good question for the meeting on the 26th.

If its subvarsity don't really think it would matter as long as you match. Like Frank said its a good question for the upcoming meetings.

Does anyone know if the vendors will be at the upcoming meeting?
