Sure, with about 5300 feet in a mile, which reduces to approximately 9000/53 or about 170 miles.

That's close enough for vacation calculation.

They are precisely 170.87708 miles. Are you really able to do 9000/53 without a calculator?

Well, 275000 meters are 275 kilometers. Of course our children don't practice difficult arithmetics like American ones.
