Had this happen to me the other night during a section semi-final. Kid was in the act of shooting when he lost control of his shot attempt, he goes back and retrieves it. I held my whistle and thought that since it was a fumble and he had no intentions of doing it on purpose there was no way that i could call him for a travel. Looking for comments on this situation. Thanks

i would say no call because he lost the ball, so he has the right to retrieve it
