"Continuous motion" applies, by definition, when there is a foul by the defense. A "PC foul" is, by defintion, a foul by the offense.

A foul by the defense does not cause the ball to become dead if a try has been STARTED.

A foul by the offense does not cause the ball to become dead if a try has been RELEASED.

I agree with your descriptions of the differences in the codes when there is a foul BY (not ON) an airborne shooter.
