Perhaps this is a stoopid question, but...
Where does a shot clock violation occur? Isn't a shot clock violation, in essence, a failure for something to occur? Alright, more practical question Where is the "designated spot" in the A.R.? Is it the location where the ball was when the shot clock expired?
