I had a player once show up wearing a helmet like this. He was somewhat older than the other kids, but I let him play with it on anyway. He didn't look like the kind of guy you'd want to argue with.

Did you let him use "The Force" too. If so, clearly an unfair advantage.

I meant to ask you about this at the camp... I saw her playing and saw the helmut. I agree that during regular season - a permission letter will have to be gained and carried with team in order for her to play. As for the camp sessions, I can see both points of view - liability or not? the helmut looked so soft and pliable - kind of like a helmut that a newborn wears to reshape their head - I am not sure why she would need to wear it - I was there last night but did not see this team - did you?
