Sore Foot!
For some reason on Saturday night during a GV game my foot started to ache. The pain comes from right where I roll up on my toe joints on the bottom part of the right foot. Sometimes the pain radiates out and up my outside ankle each time I complete my normal walking stride. (Doesn't feel any better when I run on it either!) If I walk slow, then the pain is hardly noticable. I had to take 4 Ibuprofen a day for three days and today I can work normal without a limp and there is just a slight reminder of where the pain was coming from. I'm using the same shoes I've had all season and nothing has changed in my routine since about January. I did three games on Friday and the same for Saturday. That is about normal for a weekend for me. Any suggestions on what it might be? (I'm 43, 165 pounds and very active, at least outside the house!) Thanks.

Guy in our association had something that sounds similar. Doc said it was a build up of Uric acid in joints in foot. Something similar to - but not gout. He was given a prescription - and within 10 days back to normal. That was in December. We haven't heard him complain since.
