Thats all well and good, but tell that to the officials who have a H.S. coach b**th and moan when the officials do their job and do not let his player wear an illegal undershirt.

You did not ask about HS. You asked about college and a specific conference. You would have to ask those that work that level and that conference. If their evaluator thinks it is a problem, then they would have addressed it. I agree but not something the rest of us really know about. Maybe Chuck can give you some insight on the conferences he works. I think he is the only one here qualified to discuss personally what those officials have to go through on a regular basis. All I can tell you is anecdotal stuff.
