High School Shot Clock
How many states are out there that use a shot clock in HS games?
I "think" Ca, NY, and Mass. does. Any others? Varsity only? Boys AND Girls contests? Time? 30 sec? 35 sec? 10 second count apply? Etc..... Pros/Cons?? |

Washington has shot clock for girls only. 30 seconds. No 10 second count in the back court.
I think it is a good thing as it allows for an easier transition into college ball for those girls who go on to play it. |

I am not sure why they only use for girls, but just how it has been here in WA for quite sometime. I would love to see it in the boys game too as it will make some teams shoot the ball and not hold and pass it for 3-4 minutes at a time.

Shot Clock
Minnesota is using it as an experimental rule this year in non conference and holiday tourney games where the school has the equipment and both schools agree to use it. 35 second clock.
