The arrow is initially set in favor of the visiting team at that point, Scrappy. Nothing else that happens afterwards matters.

Yeah, darn it, I overlooked the "home team gets it". I was thinking they just knocked it out of bounds with no possession. Followed immediately by a technical on the visitors.

I was trying to point out that even though the home team knocked it out of bounds (in my mistaken scenario), the arrow wouldn't be set until the home team had the ball at their disposal for the throw-in following the technical free throws.

My bad.
