They had a policy that if anyone won any award for three straight years, that award would then be named after him or her. I won that award my first three years in the association.

Last year, our local association's rep decided as a gag to convert an old trophy into the Charlie T Award given to the official who hands out the most technical fouls in one season. About this time last year, a bunch of guys told me that they were organizing this and handing it out to "Joe"; this was done at the first meeting. It was surprise to him. No one has mentioned anyhting to me this year about the "award". I am fearing the worst. I don't think I handed out the most T's last year, but this is no scientific poll. I'll let you know in a couple of weeks what is the result.
