I had the flex belt years ago, and it worked well to keep my shirt in. That was before I started wearing tights, and it worked well keeping my pants up. In fact, I liked it better for that reason.

Now, as stated in other posts, I wear tights and tuck the shirt into there. The shirt stays in place, though not quite as well as with the flex-belt. It works good enough, though. But with pleated pants, I am not having to continuously pull them up for some reason.

It is worth the money to buy a flex belt or will compression shorts work to? Just wondering

Get the belt. I need to get another one because my first one snapped in half. But I am into season 4, so it is to be expected. Fortunately, this did not happen during a game.

Tucking my shirt into my compression shorts has always worked for me. Maybe you should try that, and if it doesn't work of you, then splash out for the belt.

When I buy my shirts I buy the extra tall that have 4" longer tail, advice a veteran gave me when I started. Plus I wear the long spandex, helps my legs feel alot better the next day.
