Flex Belts

Stupid question. But I decided to start wearing one and I'm not sure how to wear it. Does the smooth side touch my waist or is the opposite way around?

It may not be legal. Are you wearing it below or above the waist?

Ha ha badnews. Gator, I've never used one, but I've seen guys use them with the bumps pointing out.

Bumps out.

Honigs has gone to a knock off brand but still charging the same price. The knockoff is shorter and doesn't appear to be very well made. Disappointing, seeing this type of quality from them.

used to just think they were for bigger people...but tried one last year and loved it! Helps hold your shirt in and you don't have to worry about tugging at your pants after you lose a couple pounds the first couple wks of the season.. So it does two things, keeps shirt in and keeps pants up! and yes bumps are out to hold pants up!

I use the ultimate belt. Works just as good, if not better.

Flex belt for me

I tried the ultimate belt mentioned by tjones1 and did not like it at all. Went back to the knobby flex belt. To each his own.....

Has anyone ever tried the garders?? I use them and they clip to the bottom of the shirts and loop around your feet. Of course you would pull your sock over them to hide them, they work great for me. No wise cracks!!!!!

Yeah, especially since what he wears are garters, not garders. :p

I wear the the shirt garters that clip to the top of my socks. I'm not into the stirrup things. I'll leave that to women who are still dressings in the 80's.

Those of you that wear the flex belt, how do you keep it from riding up around your waist when you bend over to pick up the ball? In my opinion those are good as long as you don't have to move.

Shirt garters (and that is the correct spelling) seem to work better for me.

I generally wear black running tights under my pants when officiating. I find that I can tuck my shirts into the tights and it holds great.

I get the flex belt fairly snug but still comfortable and have no problems with it moving during the game.

I had never worn a flex belt before this season, and I am SOLD! It feels a little awkward at first, but it does an excellent job of keeping my shirt tail in and my pants up. The little knobbies go out by the way.
