A recent picture of our cantankerous BIG DAWG:

I thinks he's signalling a violation of some kind?

Closed paw is a foul.

You knew that.

I wasn't sure which came first - the violation of this thread, or the foul.

We may need to come together and argue about it for a while.

I'm 137% sure it should be a jump ball.

Did the call come from the lead dog?
If so, I would go 142% sure. But other than that, I agree with you.

If I put both paws up for a jump ball, I'll fall flat on my face.

That's why I let my partner make that call from the lead.

The arrow would be set towards Team A when the thrower for Team B has the ball at his disposal for the throw-in following the technical foul FTs per 4-3-3b. This was a noncommon foul!
You're correct. I was thinking about he fouls being penalized in the order of occurance and that the arrow is NOT set on the FT for the T since it is not a common foul. Under the old rules, the arrow would not yet be set and it would have been a jump ball to start the game due to the double foul where now it is POI.

Nice catch.

Btw, are you still doing the traditional Mexican Hat Dance? You know....the one where you dance around a sombrero and pray for hair?
