Rogers Redding Guide

I just started reading the Rogers Redding guide for 2006 NCAA rules, On page 2 for the 2006 rule changes I see 2 mistakes already, one for halftime shortened to 15 minutes and the other for Personal Fouls on the try.
I am debating if I should even use this book for this year, since I already found 2 mistakes on the second page. Anybody know whats going on with this book.

The book came out before the rules were finalizedI believe. Most of the content should be accurate with the exception of some of the new items.

RR made the decision to revise the book and print it based on what he thouight he understood the changes would be. Clearly they ended up being different. He has reportedly stated he will n ot publish any sort of addendum or correction for this year. It is generally a great book but I think I am passing on buying it this year.

Given all of the problems with the NCAA rule books this year, I'm willing to give RR a pass on any problems. Complaining that there are one or two errors in a book that good is like sending back a Big Mac because two sesame seeds fell off the bun.

All the blame has to lie with the NCAA rules committee. You can't publish one set of early changes on and then come out a few months later with different words and/or interpretation changes.

Regardless, I think Redding should at least put up changes on a web site or something where we can manually update the 2006 version of his guide.
NF does that every year on their web site to fix up their goofs. If you work NF rules as well, you know what I mean.
