Another example of taking a real game situation and trying (poorly) to fully explain it written form. Video is the best, but absent such, this is better interpreted orally as a back and forth, "Yeah, sometimes it won't be a travel, but not for the reason given", discussed over some adult beverages at the local Applebee’s after the game.
