Rather obvious and easy technical foul to call. I doubt anybody would think they are a hero for calling one in this situation.

And coaches should not being arguing rules with officials. Coaches who choose to argue rules they don't have the slightest clue about are being jerks. I don't even allow the back-and-forth, I shut it down immediately.
