I was highlighting why the question was irrelevant. Most of the basketball world uses 3-person crews. The PSAL switched to 3 this season for Class AA basketball (the larger schools).

Is that the same league that infamously played their quarterfinals with the college 3pt line at St. John’s back in 2012?

More likely the CHSAA (the New York Catholic school league). Maybe the PSAL officials incorrectly applied the college 3-point line. Don't know for sure.
