Camron please explain to me the need for a 4th place game? I thought the loser of the third place game came in fourth place!

Need? Not my department. I can't say that it is needed. I am only stating that it exists.

As for who is 4th, it isn't the loser of the 3rd place.

It is partially a double elimination bracket with the winner of the consolation bracket taking 4th. The loser of the 3rd place game gets 5th. The loser of the 4th place game takes 6th. Those in the quarter finals that don't win a game (lose their first two) just go home.
