That is what is wrong with this forum. You guys, are missing the important points here.

Lets break this down:

1. Ball hit to the first baseman.
2. He drops the ball.
3. He picks it up with his bare hand
4. He touches first base with the glove while the ball is secure in his other hand still.
5. The runner steps on first with his brand new Nikey cleats.

Now, is he safe or out?
