On your first point, you've just described Coach Shoshovitski, who for all intents and purposes could probably run Duke U from his office. No accountability for the way they treat officials. In my view, it speaks poorly of their character.

As for your second point, I'll look forward to your reply to mbcrowder's question.

Baloney.....

You pulled this same thing in your "override call" thread.

Override call

You were asked "what teams and when" for the purpose of finding video to support your claim.

You disappeared for two weeks and start this thread in the same manner...

Don't feed the troll.

What level of NCAA is this anyway? The umpires you describe don't sound like NCAA umpires to me.
It's in the Sunbelt Conference. Not sure what "level" that is.

Cases of arguments won: One involving a hit batsman/foul ball situation. I don't remember the details, but the call was reversed after an umpire conference. Another time, the umpire failed to see a play made at third base. After the coach argued with him, the umpires conferred, and then they signaled that the out was made at third. In each case, the coach argued fiercely, "in his face".

So time to name names

Sunbelt is D1. I went to MTSU as a student and broadcast the baseball games on radio. They were in the OVC at that time. So who are we talking about? Time to name teams and coaches.

Guys, the question was preceeded by the question mark, "comments, please?"

The answer is NO, or no response, unless you have some comments.

This coach has a reputation for "in your face" arguing with umpires, and has been ejected many times. In fact, as a fan, I feel that the coach hasn't finished his "job" with the umpire until he succeeds in getting himself ejected. The fans usually cheer him when he finally does get ejected.

On this one occasion, the umpire warned him, and the coach replied, "I didn't argue a SINGLE PITCH!"

It was either this occasion, or another time, when the coach asked the umpire, "How come you never call the third strike?"

I don't remember the outcome of this argument.

There was another occasion where the umpire sent him to the dugout after an argument and refused to talk to him. Later, he approached the umpire from the dugout. The umpire said, "STOP! Not one more step!" The coach said, "This is about something else!" He took one more step, and the umpire tossed him.

Comments, please?
Do you realize that you are posting on an UMPIRE form?
Do you realize that this coach is a jerk?
Do you realize that umpires do not have to give explanations to coaches?
DO you realize that you appear to no nothing of NCAA rules or rules of baseball in general?

Which apparently gives him the right obligation to be an a$$.

bsaucer,

I find your posts on this forum remarkably uninteresting. (Impartial and firm.)

You're welcome. (Courteous.)

It seems to me the question is: Arguing balls and strikes?

Answer: yes, you can. However, you will get dumped.

Next question.
