3 Man rotation

I am not sure if this is even a serious post. How can it be answered? The CCA manual for MOST assoc. is probably the best advice. In the GBL we use a modified 3 man rotation that leaves the PU home MOST times, but that's a different clinic altogether. If you are truly asking about rotations AFTER attending, maybe you should wait and avoid 3 man until you can attend again.

A simple "get the CCA Manual" would have sufficed. No reason to be a jack*ss.

As far as your assoc. using this modified 3 man system ... that sounds like too much work. Just use the CCA mechanics. Why make things more difficult?

Actually it was super easy. For the plate guy, it was a very relaxing day behind the plate. The base umpires took care of just about everything. Minimal rotations, you just have to be flexable and alert when on the bases.

3 man rotations, when followed correctly, will become very routine and second nature once you know the situations. I would ask first, what level of ball are you working where you are using 3 man? If its D1 get the CCA book. I also would advise you to get the PBUC manual also. Some of the explanations have been too general and not specific. The one thing that is a must is for you and your crew to have a very detailed pregame. F/F, catch/no catch, baserunner responsibilities and communication are very critical to a successful 3 man crew

cub42 is correct... if your using OBR rules.. they use a little different 3 man than CCA... so you should check and see what kind of Mechanics they are using.
