Today's opening tap in the Indiana-Michigan game. Steve Welmer is R, tossing the ball. Ted Hillary is U1 and Tim Higgins is U2. Tap is controlled by Indiana, and they have a 1-on-1 break. Hillary is now lead, under the basket, as the player attempts a shot. I look to the bottom of my screen, and Welmer has occupied the C! Higgins is not in the picture. Indiana misses the shot, and we go down to the other end, where Higgins is now lead on the same side of the court as Hillary's trail, and Welmer is still in the C across from the table.

What happened here? I would hate to think this was predetermined because Higgins can't get up and down the court like he used to...

That's what you get when you put three guys together who don't know what they're doing.

My guest is that the R just went to the wrong side of the floor.

Question Rotation maybe?

TriggerMN,

Is it possible that Hillary made a rotation? If that is the case, I see nothing wrong here. I was not paying that close attention at the start of the game, but it sounds like that is what happen.

Peace

I'll guess.

With Hillary at Lead and on the break alone,
Welmer took C opposite for a better/different angle of the 1-1 matchup.
Higgins flexed to cover table-side when Welmer took the odd angle.

Thanks Mick, I had never seen it done before, and wondered if that was even allowed on the opening tip.

Late in the same game, there was a block called on an Indiana player that was bang bang. Welmer made the call. Of course, Billy Packer didn't agree with the call. Anybody have an opinion. I thought Welmer got it right, the defender seemed to have moved foreward into the shooter a bit.

Just wondering.

Well it must have been a perfect call. Billy Packard disagreed with it.

We'll have to let Rut answer, but I think it's either:

a) "crunk" (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=crunk)

OR

b) He's asking the Cubs to sign John Kruk to play first base this year.
