Watch what your partners are doing. 3 man can become 2 man real quick so cover eachother's rear ends.
If you go out, go out hard and don't come back until the play is over. Don't rotate unless the ball goes into the outfield. DO NOT OVER-HUSTLE! Over-hustling can be fatal in the three ump system. If you don't know where you are going, check where your partners are (see above), stay ahead of the runner entering your area and don't leave an even number of umpires at any base. If you are U1 rotating home, don't take the play until you are set. Someone else gave you the rotations. I had to come up with something different. D |
