I guess I didn't word that properly. What I meant by "concussion" was say a direct hit to the mask of a hockey helmet compared to a traditional mask. I've worked on significantly more fields this year with the short cage as opposed to years past, so maybe I should take that into consideration a little more too. |

When the "scissors stance" was banned for lower MiLB umpires we went to the MiLB Administration and asked for a copy of the study and document.
We were refused with the comment "this is a private document between MiLB Administration and the Umpire union." This was the same comment we received on the HSM issue. The real proof is that, to the best of my knowledge, no AA or lower umpires work wearing an HSM. Tee |
