Plate stance inside pitch

Batter crowding home plate. Catcher sets up inside.

I've never been able to get a good look.

Going wayyyy in the slot only lets me see the last 4 feet of the pitch.

Going over top of the catcher's helmet gives me a terrible perspective on the low pitch.

Should I go to the opposite shoulder? I know that's the danger zone for foul balls though...

I stay in the slot, get closer if I can and get lower based on some advice from clinicians and general posters of the internet that seem to have a clue. It's worked pretty well for me.
