Considering what I typed, I would love to know what type of glasses through which you read my post to come up with that conclusion.

This "umpire" made 4 "out/safe" calls on one batted ball. Scary I know. But that isn't the best part. Later in the game, runners on 1st and 3rd with one out. Right handed batter hits a smash down the 1st base line which hits the base and bounces into foul territory. He immediately yells "Foul ball!!!" Anyone have an idea on what to do with this one?
This happened to me last summer. Rec ladies FP, 1-umpire system, playing on a field in a park where the foul lines weren't marked. There are several trees beyond the OF and I chose the tree that was closest to being on the fair line. During the game I called a foul ball based on the wrong tree. I realized after I called it that it was fair by about 10 feet. The defense argued that they quit on the play. I let the batter bat again, but looked it up later and learned that I should have just awarded 2 bases to everyone.

So award the bases based on what you think the result of the play would have been. Probably just one base.
