Int. Tie-Breaker with auto Out
Shewww, here's the deal.
Team A is short a player, so they play and take the extra out whenever that player comes up to bat. The game is tied, and goes into ITB. However, Team A last batter was the automatic out. So who do you allow to go to second to start the inning? Or is it Game over? Or does noone go to second? |

Or if you are looking at a line-up card, find the lead-off batter. Look up one spot at a time until you find one with a player assigned.

Yes, I understand that. As I mentioned. However, the last batter dose not exist. Team A, only had 8 players. So the 9th batter, was an automatic out and also the last out on the tie. So the person that is supposed to be on second dose not exist. How ever the rules read "line up". So who goes to second.

If by "the rules" you mean "ASA rules", then all you have to do is read the whole rule!
If a team is playing short-handed and the missing batter is the one who should be placed on second base, just skip back one more space in the line-up to the next batter that's actually present. |

As noted, find the lead off on the line-up card and look up one space until you see the name of a player. Granted, if you don't find a name in the first two positions you check, the game should e over.
