Dp/flex

Dakota said that the DP cannot play Def and the Flex cannot bat in extra innings? Is this in ASA, FED, USSSA? I thought I have read the books inside and out, don't recall seeing this anywhere???

And did you know in NFHS the hands are part of the bat, or that the plate umpire can still ask the base umpire for help when he calls a check swing a strike?

I learned both these rules in one game.
