How do YOU catcher a batter being out of the batter's box.

I've found that a few breadcrumbs, a can of Red Bull, a cardboard box, a stick and a string create an almost foolproof method that not only allows me to concentrate on the strike zone but also can check out that hot mom in the sun dress on the first base line.
Not real effective

I find a snare hidden just under the dirt works without damaging the batter in any way.
