I spoke to one of the sales rep and he mentioned that the design comes from the NSA ASA and UIC umpires. They also informed me of a Plated shoe coming out in 2010. Yeah, not only doesn't he know how to describe those leaders, but after two whole posts has two separate stories on how he learned about these shoes.

So, Josh, were you just web-surfing for an umpire shoe at the NSA convention? Did you see the shoe in person, or the on-line picture?
