I've been told I can do that......anyhow want to thank you for your post you are soooo true. That is how I got into this mess in the first place. I was looking online for the ASA rules and found this site. (I do need a book)

I understand the local rules are usually only based on ASA rules........problem is I didn't have a rule book and was just curious.....isn't that what killed that cat.

If you are in a league that registers teams ASA..they should provide a copy of the book.... if its BASED on ASA rules, they should have a book at the site, or at least access to league rules.

This is the BEST place to come for a softball rules question...There is NO BETTER place. Sometimes humor will be involved, but 99% of the people here WILL be polite. Dont take any of it personally.

She doesn't have a book, doesn't know the rules, but knowledgable umpires are 'jerks' for not spoonfeeding her the answer she wants to hear
