My wonderful sister called me yesterday and asked several questions about NSA COED slowpitch. They've never played it, and I've never umpired it, so I thought I'd ask those who know. They are playing in a "D-E" tournament this weekend.
1. What is the pitching distance for COED slowpitch? 2. What is the base distance for COED slowpitch? 3. What is the pitching arc? 4. Since it's coed, do they use 2 EP's? That is, play 12? How is it listed on the line-up? 5. Run rules? 6. Male/Female rules? 7. Substitution rules? If anyone can help, it would be appreciated. I can't get the NSA website to load-up. FUBLUE |

Was just able to open up the rulebook today (finally). Let's see if I got these right.
1. 53 feet 2. 70 feet 3. 6 feet to 10 feet 4. 2 EP's, batting 12, (6/6 male/female) can play any positions defensively. 5. 20 after 3, 15 after 4, 10 after 5 6. Only starters have re-entry priviledge. 7. The rule book is confusing. |
